When football fans take down the goal post where does it go?

I am a major football fan and I attend every football game that goes on. Yep, all of them. Being a former professional football player myself, I have come into contact with a few goal posts. Its true, I really have...many a times. After the fans take it down, they would have a fight to the death to see who could keep it. I had the honor of fighting some white guy for a goal post once and to no one surprise, I won! I then would have to give it back to a professional football player but since I was once one myself, I got to keep it. 

It's not secret what football players do with their goal posts. I have one in my back yard and one at my school and where I work. I'm sure the others do too. This saves gas money and bus fare. We use these post as sling shots to shot ourselves to where we need to go. It takes great dexterity and strength to be able to control where you will end up. With some practice, I'm sure even the moon is a possibility.
